"Coach James is an engaging communicator who uses stories to inspire his audience's to think differently about life"


 Coach James, is a public school teacher, basketball coach and youth motivational speaker.  Coach James has inspired thousands of young people around the country through middle & high school assemblies, youth conferences, chapels,  camps, and youth ministry events. 

As a former junior college basketball coach James had the great honor of coaching along side one of the NJCAA Basketball Greats, Hall of Fame Coach Francis Flax.  Together they made three consecutive NJCAA DII National Tournament  appearances in the late 90's were they finished 4th two years in a row, then in 1999 won Brown Mackie's first ever NJCAA Division II National Title.

James has also been fortunate enough to have also been mentored by one of The 50 Most Inspirational Figures in NBA History, former NBA player, Harlem Globetrotter and current motivational speaker Melvin 'MC' Adams. 

Due to a drug addicted mother while growing up in Brooklyn, James spent his early childhood in the New York City foster care system where he experienced both physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his providers. 

In high School James met a public school teacher who saved his life and inspired him to dare to dream big.  Through his guidance and encouragement James overcame the odds and discovered his life's purpose
